Artist Statement

My work arises from a deep communion with the inner world—an unfolding of intuition, experience, and a profound sense of belonging to the greater whole. Rooted in a life shaped by nature, silence, and meditation, my creative practice is an exploration of self-knowledge in dialogue with the unknown. Through drawing, painting, and sculpture, I trace the invisible currents where inner and outer worlds converge.

At the heart of my process is a sacred engagement with feminine energy—fluid, receptive, nurturing, and wise. This presence is not only inspiration but also a guide and companion. It invites softness, surrender, and listening. As I paint, I enter a meditative state in which color becomes voice and gesture becomes invocation. I move beyond the boundaries of reason into a space of energetic creation, where intuition leads and magic flows.

To create is to remember that we are channels—vessels of the Universe, participating in its ever-evolving dance. My work is an offering to this rhythm, a space where light and color become agents of transformation. They invite us to feel, to heal, and to reconnect with the sacred feminine within and around us. It is in this space that I play, build, and belong—freely, fully, and in reverence.

Biography

Born in the coastal city of Viña del Mar, Chile, Daphne Anastassiou Mustakis grew up surrounded by art and creativity. Her mother, a talented jewelry designer, filled the home with raw materials and artistic inspiration—sparking Daphne’s lifelong exploration of visual expression. What began with painting expanded into sculpture, animation, and more recently digital media, evolving alongside her own spiritual and personal journey.

Daphne’s work is a reflection of her deep curiosity about human nature and the unseen energy that connects us all. Drawing from her background in psychology and a longstanding interest in personal transformation, her art invites viewers to look beyond appearances—to remember that we are beings of light, energy, and divine essence.

Her creative process is deeply intuitive and meditative. Through silence, color, and light, she channels a powerful feminine energy that nourishes and guides her work. Each piece is an offering: an invitation to reconnect with the self, with nature, and with the vast intelligence of the universe.

Since 2000, Daphne has shared her vision through exhibitions in Paris, London, New York, Athens, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Dubai, and more. She is represented in Paris by Galerie Colette Dubois, and her work is part of private collections across several continents. Daphne is also the author of We Are Love, which encourages readers to release limiting beliefs, embrace their creative potential, and live with greater authenticity and joy.

Daphne currently lives and works in Chile, where she continues to expand her artistic practice—blending traditional techniques with digital media to express the timeless truths that inspire her.
